Kickstarter Is Live for CRACKED! A MAGIC IPHONE STORY

I’ve been telling you for weeks that I’d have a Kickstarter for Cracked! A Magic iPhone Story, and here it is. Would you believe it’s a STAFF PICK?

The first 30 seconds of the video are from the beginning of the novel, as read by Jon of ManyATrueNerd (because his voice is cooler than mine; he has an accent).

Please check out the rest of the project. It’s got cool rewards like a custom short stories and smartphone cases.

    Hi Janine,
Congrats on your kickstarter campaign kickoff! I learned about it from the Wayward newsletter. I’m a fantasy/SF enthusiast and writer/playwright who writes there as well so I thought I’d introduce myself. Are you, by chance, going to Sirens next weekend? (feminist fantasy conference for writers, agents, publishers, readers, etc) If so, I’ll see you there. If not, you should check it out.

Good luck on your campaign – it’s a great idea.

    Cheers,
    Darian

      Hi Darian,
Thanks for introducing yourself and for checking out my campaign! The Wayward Coffeehouse has been so great about telling people about my project. They’re so supportive!

Aww curses. I always want to go to Sirens, but I can’t make it this year. I’m already scheduled to be a Emerald City Writers Conference (about which I’m super-excited!). I’ve never been to ECWC either, and it’s so impressively organized and convenient.

But I’ll undoubtedly see you at Wayward. I lead a meetup on alternate Tuesdays, the Ladies of the Write critique group. If you’ll be there then, I’ll see you there!

      Always,
      Janine
